I’ve just spent the past year and a half dealing with cancer. I was diagnosed in January 2019 and had my final surgery a year later, just six months ago.

I thought once I was back on my feet, I’d dive back into my life with gusto. And I tried. But then the Coronavirus Pandemic hit and I was thrust from my bubble of quiet and sickness to homeschooling three children, a husband working full time at home, and an attempt to launch a new business.

Now the world is opening up again, there’s a timely uprising of resistance to a return to the status quo. The disruption we’re experiencing in world health, race relations, structures that support 1% is disturbing, it rattles us and there’s a lot of noise on social media.

I want to create a space to quietly engage with the world while simultaneously encouraging women to create and lead. I want to amplify voices of women. I want to promote the work of women. I want to create a community of support for women.

If you’d like to join me on this journey, I can’t promise it’ll be comfortable but I’m hopeful it will be supportive.

Come sit with me in a quiet space and let’s find a way forward together.

And it’s hard to navigate.
